Minimum Age

Minimum age for competition is 35 years. Age is determined at first day of competition 14 May 2023.
NB: Medical certificate maybe required for certain conditions

Age Division

35+

As per QRL Masters rules, the following short colours will apply:

• Age 35 - 49 White Shorts
• Age 50 - 59 Red Shorts
• Age 60+ Gold Shorts

Fees

Sport fee per team = no fee if you are insured under the 2022 Townsville Masters tournament (insurance must be purchased if you were not part of the tournament)

Games Registration Fee in addition to sport fee:

• Early Bird #1 - $69 per person (ends 31 Aug 2022)
• Early Bird #2 - $71 per person (ends 31 Dec 2022)
• Nominal Registration - $89 per person (ends 25 May 2023)

• Registrations close 14 May 2023
• Teams must consist of a minimum 11 players (unlimited subs)
• Each match will consist of 2 x 15 minute halves
• All teams must be available to play at any time during the competition.
• The tournament will be structured as round robin matches
• All teams must supply their team colours at the time of registration. If you are the team captain, once you have created your team in the system please email the team colour to rlfnqmasters@gmail.com
• The competition will be conducted under the NRL Masters over 35 Rules.
• Players are covered under NRL Masters carnival and gala days insurance, forms to be filled out by each player upon arrival at event
• Those that are not covered from playing in the the 6th Townsville Pirates Masters RLFC Gala Day in March 2021 are required to pay $60 for insurance directly to Rugby League FNQ Masters prior to competing.
• The competition is presented by Rugby League FNQ Masters and supported by QRL and NRL.
