Welcome to the heart of the action. Checking in at the Games Hub is your first step to an unforgettable experience at the 2025 Great Barrier Reef Masters Games.

Here's what to expect:

  • Warm welcome: Our friendly volunteers will greet you with smiles and all the information you need to get started.
  • Smooth registration: Quickly complete your registration and check-in process. Don’t forget to bring your photo ID to collect your Games lanyard (accreditation).
  • Participant pack: Receive your participant bag filled with essentials, goodies, and exclusive GBRMG merchandise.
  • Info and assistance: Need help or have questions? Our dedicated team is here to help you with everything from event schedules to local tips.
  • Excitement begins: The Games Hub is your place to connect with fellow participants, share your excitement, and soak in the atmosphere.

Checking in at the Games Hub is more than just picking up your credentials; it's where your journey begins. Make sure to arrive with plenty of time to explore, meet new friends, and get ready for the incredible events ahead.

  • Thursday 29 May            7:30am – 8pm  (*Opening Ceremony 6pm - 7.30pm)
  • Friday 30 May                  7:30am – 7pm
  • Saturday 31 May             7.30am – 4pm
  • Sunday 1 June               8.30am -  4pm

Competitor, supporter and non-playing officials must all check-in at the Games Hub.
This is the only location where accreditation passes are issued and souvenir bags available for collection.
Photo ID is required.

* It is mandatory that all competitors and non-playing officials receive their Games lanyard accreditation prior to commencing competition.
** Access to the social hub venue will be denied without your Games lanyard accreditation pass so please bring it with you at the nighttime social functions.

Is available upon request and must be pre-arranged a week prior to 12pm, Tuesday 20 May. After this date all competitors, non-playing officials and supporters must check in at the Games Hub individually.

Pre-arranged group check-ins must contact gbrmasters@cairns.qld.gov.au. The nominated person who will be making the group check-in, must inform all team members in advance. Photo ID is required by the person collecting the groups accreditation, along with a list of all team members. It is the responsibility of the person collecting the group's accreditation to distribute the welcome kits etc. to all their team members.

Games official merchandise will be available for purchase online, with collection at the Games Hub only.

All sports and the Opening Ceremony are free for spectators to attend. If spectators would like to attend any of the social events they must purchase a "Supporter Lanyard Pass".

All social event attendees will need to show their GBRMG lanyard ID prior to entry; these can be purchased online via the registrations site.

Supporter lanyard passes can not be purchased at social events; they must be purchased in advance and collected from the Games Hub during open hours.

Supporters will also receive registration kit bag on check in at the Games Hub.
