ENTRY INFORMATION

• The swimming competition is open to all competitors including members of Masters Swimming Australia, International masters members, and non-masters members
• Australian competitors must provide masters ID number and club code when prompted upon completing online entry
• All Non-Masters Sport Swimming Australia members and Overseas competitors must provide proof of age via a copy of a driver’s license or passport to Swimming Queensland at events@mastersswimmingqld.org.au.

ENTRY TIMING

• Qualifying times are not required currently. You must submit a time for each event entered, preferably your personal best from the previous two (2) years.
• Entering no time (NT) or leaving the space blank is not permitted for this event.
• If you do not have an official time for an event, you should enter either an estimate of what you will achieve, or at least a time recorded in training.
• Times should be entered in the following format - minutes:seconds.tenths hundreds, eg 01:26.94, 45.06 or 0:45.06

RELAY TEAMS

• Club Relay Teams are encouraged to nominate and pay online prior to competition via Swim Central https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au but can also be nominated and paid for on the day of the event.
• Swimmers who are non-members or are part of clubs who do not have enough members to form a relay can make up their relay teams on the day.
• Relay swimmers must have entered at least one (1) individual event and shall not swim for more than one team in each relay event.
• The organisers may assist with the formation of relay teams.

COMPETITION INFORMATION

• You must produce your Games accreditation and photo ID upon entry to the pool at request.

• All swimmers can break Great Barrier Reef Masters Games records in both individual and relays.
• Masters Swimming Queensland members can break Queensland records
• Masters Swimming Australia members can break National records and their respective State records
• This event is not World Aquatics World Record eligible.
• Multi Class Swimmers may nominate under their classification if they wish. Multi Class swimmers compete in their own right. There will not be separate heats (unless numbers allow for that).
• Competitors with a medical disability must forward a current Medical Disability Certificate endorsed by a registered medical practitioner. Forms available from the Masters Swimming Australia website.

• The competition is presented by Masters Swimming Queensland and sanctioned by Masters Swimming Queensland.

• Competition will be conducted under Masters Swimming rules and current swimsuit rules apply. See Rules and Policies | Masters Swimming

• Paddles and watches are not permitted to be worn during the meet, including warm-up and swim down.
• 400m swimmers are to provide their own lap counter assistant should they require one.
• Heats in each event will be seeded from fastest times to slowest times
