Beach volleyball

• Minimum age is 30 years.
• Age is determined as of 25 June 2027 (day of the competition)

30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

• Women’s pairs
• Men’s pairs
• Mixed pairs
• Mixed four’s

SPORTS FEE:

• Pairs: $55 per player per team
• Fours: $55 per player per team

+ GAMES FEE:

$85 Early Bird (ends 28 Feb 2027)

$99 Standard (from 1 March 2027)

The competition draw will be finalised after entries close and published here on the Games website

• Participants may only compete in one (1) gender specific team (i.e. men’s or women’s) and one (1) mixed team per pairs and fours event. (e.g. Men’s 40+ Pairs, Mixed 40+ Pairs, Men’s Fours 40+, Mixed Fours 40+)
• Divisions may be amalgamated depending on entries however medals will be awarded based on each separate division.
• Teams must be available to play at all times during the scheduled competition times.
• Players may be required to duty referee.
• Competition will be conducted under the Federation of International Volleyball (FIVB) rules, however the game structure may change to fit time constraints.

MIXED FOUR TEAMS:

• Mixed Fours teams must be created by a designated ‘team manager’ before players can register.
• The Team Manager is responsible for registering the Mixed Four team and entering each player's name and email address. Each player will then receive an email invitation to join the team, complete their registration, and pay their fees.
• Team Managers can download the Player Registration Details Form to collect the information required from each player
• If a player does not receive their invitation email, they should check their spam or junk folder
• If you are a player who needs a Mixed Fours team, enter ‘I need a team’ and the volleyball sports organiser will assign you to one.
• All Mixed Fours teams are permitted to have 6 players on their team list and can choose to rotate these players at any time during the match.

PAIRS:

• Players registering for pairs do not need to create a team; simply nominate your partner’s name.
• A maximum of 2 players can be registered in a pairs team
