SPORT FEE

• $60 per player

Non-Playing Officials, such as scorers, umpires and team managers who are not competing, must be registered. They are not required to pay the Sports Fee and only need to pay the Non-Playing Official Games Fee.

Please note: any applicable Rugby Australia / Queensland Rugby Union registration, sanctioning or insurance requirements will be advised prior to competition.

The final competition format and draw will be determined following the close of team registrations and will reflect final team numbers and divisions.

• Additional age divisions may be offered subject to sufficient team registrations. Divisions may be combined or adjusted depending on final entries.
• The competition will be played in the Rugby Sevens format.
• The competition will be conducted under the World Rugby Laws of the Game, including Rugby Sevens variations, together with any Masters-specific competition variations confirmed prior to competition.
• Registered team squads will consist of a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 players.
• The Team Manager is responsible for registering the team and entering each player's name and email address. Each player will then receive an email invitation to join the team, complete their registration, and pay their fees.
• Team Managers can download the Player Registration Details Form to collect the information required from each player
• If a player does not receive their invitation email, they should check their spam or junk folder
• Players can also register individually and enter their team name during registration. Please ensure the team name is spelt correctly.
• Team Managers can get a LIVE link report to monitor their teams registrations; this report can be requested by emailing the Great Barrier Reef Masters Games Team at gbrmasters@cairns.qld.gov.au
• Players who wish to participate but do not have a team may register individually as a Rugby 7s competitor and enter 'I need a team' when prompted for a team name. The Rugby 7s Sports Organiser will endeavour to allocate individual players to a suitable team where possible.
• Further competition information, including final rules, draw and match schedule, will be provided prior to the Games.
